PTO

Thank you for contributing to Wydown's Funds for Excellence campaign! This is the PTO's main fundraiser, and donations are essential to making the year a success. Together, we will plan and fund about 30 student-centered social activities, teacher educational requests, staff appreciation events, and parent meetups, and provide need-based student support, costing approximately $29,000 for the 2025–2026 school year.
 
Any donation is welcome. However, to help guide your giving, below are a few examples of what various activities cost:

• $50 – Parent Coffee Meet-Up
• $200 – "Gab & Grub" school-wide ice cream social during PACK
• $300 – One need-based scholarship to Sixth Grade Camp
• $500 – Wydown Family Skate at Brentwood Rink
• $1,000 – Staff Appreciation Lunch
• $2,000 – Spring/Fall Student Social, with DJ, refreshments, food, and photo booth

*Donations are pooled into the PTO general account and distributed as planned. Donations are not intended to be sponsorships for a specific activity. Clayton Schools is a 501(c)(3) organization; your donation to the PTO is 100% tax-deductible. Tax letters will be provided at the end of the year.*

We’re always looking for volunteers to help at events! Complete the district's annual volunteer enrollment if you want to volunteer for field trips or in any roles where you may be alone with students (i.e., field trips).

The mission of the WMS PTO is to enhance and enrich our community through initiatives, programs, and activities that support our students, parents, staff, and school. Providing funding to our teachers and staff is an important part of that mission. Please use the documents below to learn about the grant process, including guidelines and deadlines, and to apply to the PTO for funds.

Find out how your company can help support the PTO!

Step 1: Does your corporation match?  You can find out if your company will match your PTO donation by visiting the Matching Gifts website.  You can print a form or be directed to your company's online donation form through the link.

Step 2: Complete your company’s gift matching form by choosing ​Clayton School District - Parent Teacher Organization Council, tax EIN number 43-1747553.

Step 3: Matching donations include those given to Funds for Excellence (FFE), care/crisis funds, PTO dues, and staff appreciation. Exclusions for matches would be those for a service/item that you received, like T-shirt purchases and yearbook purchases.

Step 4: If there is a memo section, please put Wydown/your child’s name so that we can transfer the matching donation to the Wydown PTO as soon as possible.

You have a year from the time you donate to submit your corporate match donations. Contact Wydown's PTO Treasurer to confirm your past donations and submit your corporate match donations today!
